Grades 8 to 12
Give a student a mentor,
and the habit of thinking for themselves.
Learnacy is our interdisciplinary mentorship for curious students in Grades 8 to 12. A network of practitioner-mentors builds the arc around each student. The mentors guide them through research, original writing and the world’s most respected competitions, and grow the confidence and self-direction that outlast every exam.

Why families choose Learnacy.
The years around school decide whether a student keeps learning for themselves, or stops when the marking does. Learnacy is built for the first.
Not a class of thirty. We map the student’s interests and gaps, then pair them with practitioner-mentors who design the arc around them.
The 5 C’s: critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, curiosity and communication. They are built through real projects, not memorised for a test.
Students leave with original white papers under their own name, published if accepted, and the rigour to enter the world’s most respected competitions. Publication depends on review and is not guaranteed.
We read every application ourselves, admit on a rolling basis, and share fees when you enquire. No pressure, and no false promises.

What it is
Not a course. An ongoing mentorship.
Learnacy is our mentorship, the living practice of our founding philosophy, and it shares its name with the book by our founder because it is the same idea, put to work. A longer, interdisciplinary arc, it builds 21st-century skills, general awareness and leadership over time, designed to grow with the student and connect the fundamentals of their education to the world they’re about to inherit.
A network of practitioners and specialists supports each participant’s goals.
Bind science, mathematics and social sciences to current events.
Critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, curiosity and communication.

How it unfolds.

Interdisciplinary sessions, projects and original research build the 5 C’s and the habit of self-directed learning.
Students turn the work outward: original white papers, and the rigour to take on international competitions like the John Locke Institute essay prize.
One part of the mentorship
Competitions are where the thinking gets tested.
They are never the point. The point is a student who can research, argue and create for themselves. Competitions are one honest place to put that to work. When a student is ready, a mentor helps them choose the right fit and prepare properly, on work that is genuinely their own.
A case-study policy-making competition for high-school girls worldwide, free to enter, with cash prizes. Built to put young women’s voices into real policy.

And the ones we help a student aim at, chosen for fit, never for a trophy shelf. Those marked 🎯 have a step-by-step prep track in our Writing Studio.
Students based in India also enter the CBSE Expression Series and CBSE-CVC Essay, Yuvamanthan Model G20, and the science pathways IRIS, INSPIRE-MANAK and the National Children’s Science Congress. Deadlines rotate yearly, and a mentor plans the right cycle. We only ever help with work that is genuinely the student’s own.
